So summer break is here… and maybe your original plan was to keep the kids home, take it week by week, or fill the days with free play and the occasional outing.
But now that school’s out and the reality of long summer days has set in, you might be wondering:
Should we have signed up for camp after all?
We get it. And the good news is, it’s not too late. At Jardin Infantil Academy, we still have spots available for our themed summer camps, and even one week of camp can make a big difference for your child (and you).
Here’s why:
1. Structure Without Stress
During the school year, kids are used to structure. Summer at home can quickly turn into too much screen time or “I’m bored” every five minutes. Camp offers a fun, predictable rhythm, without the pressure. Your child knows what to expect, and you get peace of mind knowing their day is full of hands-on learning and outdoor play.
2. Skill-Building That Feels Like Play
Whether your child joins our Cooking, Art, Drama, Nature, or Multi-Sports camp, they’ll come home proud of what they created or discovered. Camp encourages confidence, creativity, and independence, and at Jardin, it all happens through joyful, screen-free activities.
3. Social Connection
Even the most independent kids benefit from connecting with peers over shared interests. Camp gives them a chance to make new friends, collaborate on fun projects, and practice teamwork in a relaxed setting.
4. You Don’t Have to Book the Whole Summer
Some families think they missed their window if they didn’t sign up back in April, but that’s not true. You can book just one week, or a few here and there. That flexibility is what makes our program a perfect fit for families who want enrichment and room to breathe this summer.
5. It’s All Ready for You
We’ve taken the guesswork out of summer:
✅ Weekly themed camps (ages 4–12)
✅ Located in beautiful High Park
✅ Small groups, supportive counsellors
✅ Outdoor play and creative learning every day
And if you’re wondering what to pack or how to get started, we’ve got a simple Packing List and resources to help you prepare.
Let’s Make This Summer One to Remember
Whether you’ve been on the fence, just got back from vacation, or realized your child needs more than lazy mornings and the iPad, there’s still time. And we’d love to have your child join us for a week (or two!) of hands-on summer fun.
