Urban Voyages
We explore our urban surroundings to complement our weekly themes. Some of our destinations are Riverdale Farm, Toronto Water Tours, Toronto Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery of Ontario, and Ontario Science Centre. The program is subject to change depending on current public health guidelines.
Multilingual Immersion
We immerse different languages daily in our program to stimulate and foster brain development and awareness in our campers.
At Jardin Infantil Academy Summer Camp, your child will learn through fun!
Cooking Camp
Our cooking camp is perfect for aspiring chefs and little foodies ages 5-10.
When attending our multicultural cuisine cooking camp, our chefs in training will learn about other cultures and their foods. Bringing a lunch to the camp is optional as we will prepare lunch daily. Campers are asked, however, to bring Tupperware to take home any leftovers should there be any!
In addition, our campers will learn about the culture of the country/region of each dish we prepare, as well as some of the language spoken.
Aprons, chef hats and disposable gloves will be provided for our chefs in training to wear.
Please note that we offer a meatless version of each dish for our vegan and vegetarian campers.
Art Camp
Our summer art camp for kids has been carefully crafted to provide an atmosphere that fosters and nourishes each child’s creative and emotional expression. We use a variety of paints, mixed media and recycling materials for campers to create their desired masterpiece!
Art Camp explores a different theme each week with various materials, techniques and approaches to making artwork. Campers have the freedom to work individually or in a small group on their chosen art project.
Skilled mentors will be on hand to provide instructions and suggestions to your child and their peers who share the same passion.
Art Camp will give our young artists the freedom to discover and nurture their interests in a range of artistic endeavours that fully immerse in an imaginative environment that will inspire and develop their creative passions.
Depending on the weather and the materials selected for the art project, this camp will occur outdoors. On those rare days when the materials chosen require an inside environment, the art aspect of the camp will be indoors in the morning and then campers will head outdoors for an afternoon filled with games and fun.
On days when the art project can be fully carried outdoors, campers will spend the full day outside where they will breathe and enjoy the fresh air and lovely weather as they work on their creations!
